Message from the President
Times are tough in global food industry these days,
for many reasons such as grain shortage, rising
prices of any items originated in petroleum, and
anxiety of the imported items from China, etc. We definitely require the prompt improvement
from current strategies in China because the market of Chinese items and foods are too large to leave the issue away any more.
My policy and first priority as a person who works for food industry is that we should try our best to please all of our customers with safe and high quality foods. We, as people who are related to food industry, cannot provide foods that have any suspicion or anxiety. Furthermore, we also have tough issues, such as the rising cost of living and strict sanitary standards. There has been no way to refuse all the issues that the government ordered us without any preconditions. We sometimes have to accept them even without correct understanding. In this case, it has been very difficult to
maintain sound management in our business for individual or a retailer. In line with this, we came up to the conclusion to establish non-profitable organisation (JACRIS). JACRIS is to aim the development of Japanese food industry with our strong network by getting up-to-date information, studying continuously to maintain the quality and social status of Japanese restaurants, and giving negotiation and suggestions to the government. To overcome all the problems around us, we shall think together, cooperate together and make efforts together. Let's develop our business more successfully in this fantastic country, Australia !!!
Bob Jones
President
