The J.A.C.R.I.S. has undertaken extensive research into the market salary rate for individuals working throughout Australia who are working as Japanese cooks or chefs who have an appropriate working experience or qualification. It has shown that those individuals earn between $48,000 and $60,000 per annum.
New food laws require certain food businesses in the NSW hospitality and retail food service sector to have at least one trained Food Safety Supervisor (FSS). Businesses have until October 1, 2011 to appoint their trained supervisor and advise their local council.
